CYPRESS, CA, December 16, 2025 – Techcon, a leader in fluid dispensing and materials packaging, announced today their new quality standard for cleanliness, consistency, and purity for all their plastic packaging products, dubbed the “Techcon Plastics Standard.”
The updated Techcon Plastics Standard requires a rigorous inspection process to ensure Techcon plastic products are “completely free” of over 25 possible contaminants and imperfections. Techcon 700 Series syringes, dispensing cartridges and components, and dispensing tips and needles will continue to meet or exceed industry standards, including ROHS and REACH, for UV light blockage, impact resistance, and repeatability.
“Our focus is not on meeting standards set by local, national, or global authorities,” explains Can La, Director of Product Management at Techcon. “Our focus is on exceeding our customer’s standards. And continuing to raise our own.”
Even before the new standard, Techcon packaging plastics have been regularly used by the aerospace, medical device, military and defence, and automotive industries.
“The new quality standard is part of Techcon’s continued commitment to supply the highest quality products possible to the most demanding industries in the world,” said La.
All Techcon plastics are produced in certified Silicon-free and Chloride-free environments and are approved for use at operating pressures up to 100 psi/6.9 bar, and for storage temperatures between -40 F and 100 F (-40 – 38 C).
